On Weaving is a fabric designed for the Tate Modern’s Anni Albers exhibition. Inspired by one of Albers’ weave plates. Woven in an undulating twill weave.

These fabrics are Jacquard woven in Lancashire from super soft Italian spun merino wool in the weft. Once woven the fabric is sent to the finishers in the Yorkshire Dales to be washed and brushed, leaving a silky handle.

The fabric is double faced and can be used either side.

Composition: 70% Merino Lambswool, 30% Cotton

Rub Test / Martindale 15,000

Application: Suitable for soft furnishings and light upholstery. If you are looking for a more robust fabric for upholstery please see our recycled cottons.

To note: When ordering please allow +/-5% tolerance on all pattern repeats and widths given.
